Kevin Kalm

Kevin Kalm begins his 15th year as an athletic trainer at Pittsburg State University in the 2025-26 school year, and his third as the head athletic trainer.

Prior to joining the PSU staff, Kalm spent time on the athletic training staffs at the Idaho Sports Medicine Institute, Boise State University, and the University of Kansas.

He received his bachelor’s degree in 2009 from the University of Kansas, then earned his master’s in kinesiology at Boise State University in 2011. He served as a student and graduate assistant for the Jayhawks’ baseball and football teams and the Broncos’ football team.

As a member of the sports medicine staffs, Kalm served at the 2008 FedEx Orange Bowl (with KU), the 2010 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, and the 2010 MACO Las Vegas Bowl (with BSU).

Kalm is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Kevin is married to the former Morgan Grisham. The couple have three daughters, Evelyn, Emilia, and Grace. The Kalms reside in Pittsburg.
