General: Second-year player...a talented wing player who matured into a frontline player for the Gorillas as a true freshman in 2006-07...has adjusted well to Pitt State's new system and figures to contend for a starting role again this winter.

In 2006-07: Saw action in 25 games, including eight starts...averaged 9.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game on the season...started eight straight games between Jan. 9 and Feb. 3...enjoyed a six-game stretch in which she averaged 15.0 points per outing, raising her season scoring output from 4.7 points to 8.7 points at the time...scored a season-high 20 points in a road win vs. Northwest Missouri (Jan. 13)...scored in double figures 11 times on the year...registered a season-best seven rebounds vs. Southwest Baptist (Jan. 9)...had 11 games with five or more rebounds...converted 18 of 62 3-point field goal attempts (.290).

In High School: A two-time Kansas Class 4A All-State performer at Girard High School (2005-06)...a three-time All-Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee League performer (2004-06)...helped the Trojans capture a CNC League title...also a multiple-year All-CNC League selection in both volleyball and softball.

Personal: Born January 18, 1988...daughter of Gaylar and Angie Poppe...has a 3.167 GPA as a technology education major.
