Assistant Coach
Jenifer Koelzer enters her first year as an assistant coach for the Gorilla Volleyball program.
Koelzer played collegiately at Baker University where she was a four-time All-Heart of America Athletic Conference setter.
The Shawnee, Kan., native also garnered first-team NAIA All-Region V honors her senior season. She was named the NAIA National Setter of the Week once during her senior season.
She also twice received NAIA National Scholar Athlete honors during her junior and senior seasons (2005-06).
Koelzer has been coaching juniors club volleyball
for the past five years in the Kansas City area. Her KC Power 16's team
took fifth place at the 2007 Juniors National Tournament.
Koelzer, a 2003 graduate of Bishop Miege High
School, earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Baker in May 2007.
She is currently pursuing a master's degree in psychology at PSU.
