Ashley Loncarich, Assistant Softball Coach

    Ashley Loncarich enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Pittsburg State University after completing a standout four-year playing career for the Gorillas in 2006.
    Loncarich, a native of Neosho, Mo., twice earned All-MIAA honors as an outfielder for the Gorillas. She earned first-team All-MIAA recognition as a senior in 2006, after batting a team-leading .414 with five doubles and 17 RBIs. Loncarich ranked second in the MIAA in batting.
    She earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors as a junior in 2005 when she hit .313 with 20 RBIs. For her career, Loncarich hit .325 with a PSU record 222 hits, 123 runs scored and 76 RBIs.
    Loncarich earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Pittsburg State University in May 2006.
