Biography
Enters her fourth season with the Pittsburg State program... an experienced runner who will look to once again be a top five runner for the Gorillas this fall.
In 2013: Competed in five meets… narrowly missed All-MIAA honors, placing 26th overall at the MIAA Championships.
In 2012: Ran in all seven races… placed 29th overall with a time of 23:48 at the MIAA Championships… recorded her season-best 6K time at the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championships with 22:43.
In 2011: Competed in all six races for PSU... finished 23rd overall at the MIAA Championships with a time of 22:41, helping the Gorillas claim their second consecutive conference title...recorded a season best 6K time at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree with a time of 20:04...qualified for the 2011 NCAA-II National Championships and finished with a time of 24:34.
On the Track: Competed in the 3000m and 5000m for the Gorillas... finished 13th at the 2012 MIAA Outdoor Championships in the 5000m with a time of 19:24… placed eighth at the 2013 MIAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 38:25 in the 10,000m race.
In High School: Finished 9th at the Kansas Class 6 Cross Country championships as a senior... recorded a season best time of 15:23... a Kansas Class 6A state qualifier in the 3200m and 4x800m relay for Wichita East High School.
Personal: Born December 10, 1992… daughter of Vincent and Mary Dunn… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.91 GPA as a biology major.
