Overland
Park, Kan. -- Pittsburg State University righthander Tiffany Swanson garnered
Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Pitcher of the Week

Swanson, a 5-foot-4 sophomore from Coweta, Okla., picked
up decisions in seven of the Gorillas’ 10 wins with no losses (as

and followed up two days later against Newman (Kan.) by allowing nine
hits and two earned runs with 10 strikeouts and no walks in a 7-5 win.
