Enters his third season in the PSU program... a promising distance runner who has battled injuries the past two seasons... will look to enjoy breakthrough senior season... narrowly missed earning indoor All-MIAA Honors in the 800m as a junior in 2006, placing eighth in the event... earned indoor All-MIAA honors as a member of PSU's distance medley relay... came to Pitt State from Butler County Community College, where he was a member of an NJCAA national champion distance medley relay team... also earned NJCAA All-America status in the 1,000 meters and the 1,500 meters... also competed in cross country for the Gorillas in 2005, placing 13th at the MIAA Championships that fall...In High School: Earned All-State honors in the 800 meters as a junior at Tonganoxie High... also earned All-State honors in the 1,600 meter and the 4x800 meter relay... Personal: Born September 26, 1984... son of Robert Norris and Marilyn Hanson... a physical education major.
