The MIAA released its list of all-conference players for the 2011 season on Thursday, November 17. Four Pittsburg State players were voted by the league's coaches to receive All-MIAA honors. Freshman Morgan Voorhes earned third-team honors, while junior Brooke Fay and sophomores Lauren Brentlinger and Christa McCaw were honorable mention honorees.
Pittsburg State Head Volleyball Coach Ibraheem Suberu announced the signing of four high school student-athletes in the early signing period. Hayley Hansford, Crystal Whitten, Olivia Roudebush and Shayne Wiedemann will join the Gorillas in the fall of 2012.
The Pittsburg State Volleyball team ended its season on a high note with a 3-2 (25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 22-25, 16-14) win over Truman on Saturday (Nov. 12) evening in John Lance Arena.

The Pittsburg State Volleyball team fell, 3-1, (25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 25-17) to Northwest Missouri in its final road match of the season.
The Pittsburg State ROTC Battalion along with representatives from the PSU Student Athlete Advisory Committee will host a holiday food/donation drive for Wesley House on Saturday, November 12 prior to Pittsburg State’s football game against the Missouri Southern Lions.
