Enters her fourth season in the Pittsburg State program... a talented middle distance runner who is looking to bounce back from injury for a big senior season... a six-time All-MIAA performer... missed a majority of the ’08 outdoor season and ’09 indoor season due to injury, but did earn All-MIAA honors at the ’08 MIAA Indoors with a fifth-place showing in the mile... also helped the distance medley relay to an MIAA runner-up showing in ’08... placed third in the 800m at the ’07 MIAA Outdoors and fifth in the event at the ’07 MIAA Indoors... helped the PSU distance medley relay and the 4x400m relay capture MIAA titles... holds the third-fastest time (2:13.03) on PSU’s top performers chart in the 800m... also a member of the PSU cross country team... an All-MIAA performer who helped the Gorillas to an 18th-place showing at the 2008 NCAA-II National Championships… In High School: A four-time All-State performer in track as well as an All-State cross country athlete at Eudora High... placed third in Class 4A in the 400m in 2004 and again in 2006… Personal: Born February 6, 1988... daughter of Don and LaDonna Ballock... a two-year MIAA Presidential Scholar and member of the MIAA All-Academic Team 2007-08... has a 3.950 GPA as a family & consumer science education major.
