Greg Warlop
Assistant Football Coach - Defensive Line
Greg Warlop recently completed his seventh year as a volunteer assistant with the PSU coaching staff.
Warlop, who worked with the Gorillas’ defensive lineman in 2009 after six seasons with outside linebackers, returned to his alma mater in 2003 after a two-year absence.
He previously served as an assistant coach at Carl Junction (Mo.) High School in 2001 and as an assistant coach at William Jewell College in 2002.
The Arma, Kan., native was a five-year member of the PSU football team from 1992-96.
He served as a student assistant for the Gorillas from 1997-99 while completing a dual bachelor’s degree in physical education and psychology at PSU.
Warlop then served as a graduate assistant on the PSU staff in 2000 while earning a master’s degree in physical education.
Greg and his wife Vickie, who were married on June 14, 2008, live in Frontenac, Kan. The couple have a daughter, Brettany, 14.
