Graduate Assistant Football Coach
Brett Shamblin recently completed his first year as a graduate assistant coach and his first season on the PSU staff, after enjoying a highly successful playing career for the Gorillas.
Shamblin assists Carl Roth with the Gorillas’ linebackers.
Shamblin, a Blue Springs, Mo., native, was a two-year starter and four-year letterwinner at outside linebacker for the Gorillas. He played in 48 career games, recording 151 tackles and 21.5 tackles-for-loss and three interceptions.
Shamblin, who graduated from Pittsburg State in December 2008 with dual bachelor's degrees in accounting and Spanish, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Pitt State.
