Chris Reddout
Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach
Chris Reddout is in his second year as a volunteer assistant coach on the Pittsburg State University staff, returning to campus after a three-year absence.
Reddout works with the Gorillas pitchers.
Reddout was an honorable mention All-MIAA performer as a senior for the Gorillas in 2006. The left-handed pitcher made 28 career starts for Pitt State during his three-year career (2004-06), posting a 15-10 overall record. He still ranks third on the Gorillas’ career victories list.
Following his senior season, Reddout signed with the Toronto Blue Jays and he competed in the organization for two-and-a-half years. Following his professional career, he served as pitching coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in 2009.
Reddout earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation administration from Pitt State in 2006 and he’s currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports and leisure service management.
Chris and his wife, Lisa, reside in Miami, Okla.
