General: Fourth-year player… a hard worker who continues to improve with experience … will look to play a more significant role for the Gorillas at nose guard this fall.

In 2008-10: Saw limited action in each of the past two seasons (2009-10) after redshirting in his initial season in the program in 2008.

In High School: A two-time All-Sunflower League performer at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School (2006-07) … rushed for 54 yards from the fullback position his senior prep year …  helped the Cougars to the Sunflower League crown and a region title in 2007.

Personal: Born December 11, 1989 … son of Joe and Diane Zdeb … a history/government major.
