General: Fourth-year player ... a versatile back who matured into a frontline performer for the Gorillas in 2009... expected to see significant action in the Pitt State backfield again this fall.

In 2009: Saw action in all 11 games, including four start... carried the ball 70 times for 416 yards (5.9 ypc)... had a career-best 132 yards rushing on 12 carries in a 42-13 season-opening win against No. 16 Central Oklahoma (Aug. 29).

In 2008: Saw action in three games in a reserve role ... carried the ball six times for 21 yards (3.5 ypc) on the season.

In 2007: Redshirt season.

In High School: A two-time first-team All-State selection at Cozad High School (2005-06)... the Nebraska Class B Offensive Player of the Year in 2006... also named to the second-team Nebraska Super State squad that year... became the first 11-man player in Nebraska state history to post consecutive 2,000-yard rushing seasons... rushed 278 times for 2,103 yards and 21 TDs in 2006... carried the ball 242 times for 2,015 yards and 23 TDs in 2005... compiled 4,702 career rushing yards.

Personal: Born August 16, 1988... son of Rick and Anngie Love... a second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII selection in 2009... also a two-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.59 GPA as a construction engineering technology major.
