In 2009: Started all 11 games at safety for the Gorillas... received second-team All-MIAA honors... recorded 71 tackles (27 solo) with 2.5 TFLs, two interceptions, four PBUs, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on the season... made a season-high nine tackles on three separate occasions... earned MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors with an intereption and a fumble recovery vs. No. 9 Chadron State (Sept. 5).

In 2008: Started 12 of 13 games at free safety for the Gorillas... garnered second-team All-America honors from Don Hansen's Football Gazette... also a first-team All-MIAA selection... recorded 62 tackles (31 solo) with 4.5 TFLs, 2.0 QB sacks, a team-leading four interceptions, two PBUs, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries on the season... twice named the MIAA Defensive Player of the Week: vs. No. 22 Nebraska-Omaha (Oct. 18) and vs. Washburn (Nov. 1)... had seven tackles, an INT, forced and recovered a fumble and recovered an onside kick attempt in the waning seconds of a 35-28 win against UNO... forced a pair of turnovers that both led to scores against WU, including an INT he returned 34 yards... logged a career-high 11 stops vs. No. 8 Chadron State (Sept. 6).

In 2007: Saw action in all 11 games, including three starts, at strong safety... recorded 38 tackles (19 solo) with 0.5 TFL, one interception, one PBU and one forced fumble... had five stops with a forced fumble and an INT vs. Truman (Oct. 13).

In 2006: Redshirt season.

In High School: An honorable mention Kansas Class 2A All-State selection at quarterback as a senior at Ness City High School in 2005... a first-team All-Central Plains League pick at defensive back that year... also an honorable mention 2A All-State quarterback in 2003... recorded 101 tackles (61 solo) with 1.0 QB sack and five forced fumbles in 2005... recorded 216 career stops.

Personal: Born September 29, 1987... son of Gerry and Ann Kuhlman... a two-year member of both the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA All-Academic Team... was named to the first-team All-District VII Academic team in 2009... has a 3.33 GPA as a biology (pre-physical therapy) major.
