In High School: A two-time Missouri Class 4A All-State performer at both quarterback and defensive back at Carthage High School (2007-08) … a first-team All-State selection as a defensive back in 2007-08 … a second-team All-State pick at QB in 2007 and a third-team All-State honoree at QB in 2006 … compiled more than 2,000 total yards in each of his final two prep years … amassed more than 6,000 career total yards … helped the Tigers to a pair of district titles … an honor roll student.
