Begins his second season at Pittsburg State... a talented runner who will look to compete for a scoring position on the squad this fall, after redshirting in his first season with the Gorillas.

In 2008: Redshirt season.

On the Track:  Competed in the steeplechase, as well as the 3,000m, 5,000m and 10,000m disciplines for the Gorillas.

In High School: Finished third at the 2007 Class 6A State Cross Country meet... also competed in the 1600m and 3200m on the track.

Personal: Born Feb. 24, 1990... son of Ron and Judy Sanell... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.467 GPA as an accounting major.
