Enters his third year in the Pitt State program...a talented runner who will look to make an impact this season... competed for PSU out of high school before transferring for a year to Black Hills State University and then returning to campus.

In 2009: Did not compete for the Gorillas after transferring from Black Hills State University.

In 2008: Competed for Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D.

In 2007: Competed in five meets for the Gorillas, scoring in two of them…ran a career-best 8K time of 26:13 at the Missouri Southern Stampede.

In 2006: Competed in five meets for the Gorillas... ran to a 61st-place finish at the MIAA Championships (27:38, 8k).

On the Track: Competed in the 3,000m and the steeplechase for the Gorillas (2007-08).

In High School: A Kansas Class 6A state qualifier in cross country and track & field at Blue Valley North High School.

Personal: Born February 3, 1988... son of the Eduard (deceased) and Rebecca Janssen... a history/government major.
