Enters his fourth season in the Pitt State program... a promising runner looking for a strong junior season.

In 2009: Competed in six of seven meets... earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors with a 20th place showing at the MIAA Championships (25:59/8K)... posted his best finish of the season with a 13th place showing at the GLVC-MIAA Challenge.

In 2008: Competed in two meets, scoring once... recorded a season-best in the 8K at the Missouri Southern Stampede with the time of 27:13.

In 2007: Redshirt season.

On the Track: Has battled injuries in each of his three seasons with the Gorillas... has a PR time of 15:18 in the 5,000m from his sophomore season.

In High School: The Missouri Class 2A state runner-up in the 5,000 meters as a sophomore at Pleasant Hill High School.

Personal: Born March 28, 1989 ... son of Mike and Teresa Haffner ... a member of the MIAA All-Academic Team and the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.83 GPA as a math education major.
