In High School:  A first-team All-Conference performer at a senior at Booker T. Washington High School… helped the Hornets to a 23-4 record his senior season, averaging 12 points per game… helped Booker T. to a 20-5 record and a state runner-up finish as a junior in 2008.

Personal:  Born October 29, 1990… son of Archellus and Chiquita Ponds… a mechanical engineering technology major.
