REGISTRATION FORM

CAMP SESSIONS

  • Grades: 7 - 12
  • 8:30 a.m. arrive / 3 p.m. pick up Each Day
  • Two Sessions Daily: 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. / 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Option fundamentals stressed with emphasis on proper techniques and footwork.
  • Passing and receiving fundamentals with emphasis on drop back techniques and pass routes.
  • Quarterbacks, Running Backs and Receivers from the same school will be paired together.
  • Athletic Trainer available.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

  • One Football
  • T-Shirt or Jersey, shorts and cleated shoes
  • Sack lunch or money for a fast food restaurant

FEES

  • $85 Pre-registered
  • Pre-registration Deadline is June 1
  • $100 if Registered After June 1
  • Includes Camp T-Shirt and Camp Insurance

CAMP INSTRUCTION

  • Option Game -- emphasis in the option game will be placed on inside and outside veer, counter lead option and keep option.
  • Passing Game -- emphasis in the passing game will be placed on 3 step drop, 5 step drop, sprint out and play action pass.

POSITION SKILLS

  • Quarterbacks: emphasis in the passing game will include proper throwing mechanics, footwork and delivery of the 3 step drop, 5 step drop, sprint-out and play-action-pass. Reading and recognizing defensive coverage emphasis in the option game will include reading and operating the inside and outside veer. Proper footwork and execution of the counter lead option and keep option.
  • Running Backs: emphasis will include stance, alignment, footwork, dive paths, taking handoff, faking handoffs, pitch paths, catching pitches, run and pass blocking as well as pass receiving and routes.
  • Wide Receivers: emphasis will include two point stance, releases, route mechanics, recognizing coverages, blocking techniques for perimeter option game and catching the ball.
  • Tight Ends: emphasis will include stance and alignment, footwork out of the stance, veer release and support blocking, running routes including option routes and catching the ball.
