2010 Kevin Muff’s Basketball Camps

@ Pittsburg State University:

June 6 | Father-Son/Daughter Camp
What: this one day camp will provide a parent and child a unique bonding experience in a basketball setting. Fundamentals will be emphasized along with games that will be fun for both parent and child.

Who: Any boy or girl ages 5 to 10 years old accompanied by one adult 21 years or older. One parent can bring up to 2 children.

Price: $50 for both the parent and child: includes 4 hours of instruction, two camp t-shirts, and complementary passes to a PSU basketball 2010-11 home game/$10 for each additional child (Full amount is due with application)

Times: Registration will be from 12-1 PM on Sunday afternoon in John Lance Arena. Camp will begin at 1:00 PM and dismiss by 5:00 PM.

June 28 | Offensive Skill/Shooting Camp

What: A one day camp that will give players an opportunity to enhance their offensive skills, especially shooting the basketball. The fundamentals of shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, and creating your own shot as well as footwork, ball-handling, and drills for self improvement will be covered in this intensive one day camp.

June 29 | Point Guard/Big Man Camp

What: A one day specialty camp designed to help players learn and develop skills that are position specific. The two groups will be separated for position-specific instruction and brought together for common instruction and competition. This is an excellent camp to perfect your game and become an expert at your position by learning the techniques used by college basketball players.

Who: Boys entering grades 9-12 in 2010-11, Projected JV or Varsity players preferred
Price: $65/session includes lunch, camp T-shirt/$90 for both sessions (June 28-29) (Full amount is due with application)
Times: Registration will be June 28 and 29 from 8-9 AM at John Lance Arena. Sessions will run from 9-5 PM daily.

Offensive Skill/Shooting Camp & Point Guard/Big Man Camp Registration Form

July 6-7 | Day Camp

What: the purpose of this camp is to teach and develop fundamental basketball skills. Camp will emphasize individual skill development and feature one on one instruction. We will learn the fundamentals of shooting, passing, ball handling, and footwork along with competitions incorporating those skills. Members of the PSU basketball staff will be present during camp. PSU players along with high school coaches will act as camp instructors.
Who: Boys entering grades 1-8 in 2010-11.

Price: $35 per camper includes a camp T-shirt. (Full amount is due with application)

Times: Grades 1-4: 9-12 PM Registration 8-9 AM Monday

            Grades 5-8: 1-4 PM Registration Noon-1 PM Monday

            *Gym Supervised from 8-9 AM and 4-5 PM to accommodate rides.
