Rick Clark (1969-70)

Football Athlete
Rick Clark broke nearly every signigicant quarterbacking record during his two-year career at Pittsburg State. Clark was a two-time first-team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and NAIA All-District 10 selection, leading the Gorillas to the RMAC title in 1970. He finished his career with 2,355 passing yards, including 1,251 yards and 15 touchdowns as as senior in 1970.

Mark Rabuse (1974-78)

Cross Country/Track & Field Athlete
Mark Rabuse was a five-time NAIA All-America in cross country and track & field at Pittsburg State. Rabuse was the NAIA National Runner-up in cross country as a senior in the fall of 1977, after earning All-America honors in the sport during his sophomore season. He also set the school record in the steeplechase, earning All-America honors three times in the event ('76-78).

John Roderique (1986-89)

Football Athlete
John Roderique was a two-time All-America linebacker at Pittsburg State. Roderique was a consensus NCAA Division All-America selection as a senior in 1989, after earning honorable mention NAIA All-America accolades as a junior in 1988. He finished his career with 305 career regular season tackles, including 126 stops during his senior campaign. Roderique added 60 more tackles in post-season play during his four-year career.

Dr. Tom Scott
Pittsburg, Kansas

Dr. Tom Scott devoted a lifetime to college athletics. As an athlete, Scott was a two-time All-Conference basketball player (1929-30) for John Lance's legendary teams. He went on to serve as head basketball coach at four institutions between 1935 and 1960, before devoting his time to athletics administration as director of intercollegiate athletics at Davidson College. Scott also played and integral role in the formation of the NCAA Division I men's basketball committee, serving as chair of the committee from 1969-75.

Ted Watts

Ted Watts established himself as the premier sports artist in the country. Watts is considered a pioneer in the sports art field for transforming college sports art publicity from a cartoon dominated market during the mid-century to an illustration art preference on campuses during the 1980s and 1990s. Watts' client list includes the U.S. Olympic Committe, the NCAA and over 150 colleges and universities across the country. His works hang in the Baseball, Basketball, Pro Football and College Football Halls of Fame.
