GENERAL: Third-year player... a talented athlete who will seek his first action in a PSU uniform this fall after battling back from injury... appears fully healed and ready to make an impact for the Gorillas.

In 2006-07: Exercised a medical redshirt in 2007 due to injury after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program in 2006.

In High School: A second-team Iowa Class 3A All-State selection at linebacker as a senior at Carlisle High School in 2005... also a first-team All-District performer this past fall... recorded 115 tackles and two interceptions and rushed for 1,189 yards (132.1 ypg) for the Wildcats his senior year.

Personal: Born February 27, 1988... son of Marc Worthington and Michele Dillon... a construction management major.
