GENERAL: Third-year player... a promising prospect at the tackle position... a hard worker who continues to improve with experience... enjoyed a productive spring camp... will vie for more significant action for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2006-07: Saw limited action as a redshirt freshman in 2007 after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program in 2006.

In High School: An honorable mention Oklahoma Class 5A All-State selection as a senior at Tulsa's Booker T. Washington High School in 2005... the District 5A-3 Offensive Tackle of the Year his senior season... helped the Hornets to three district titles (2002-04) and three city titles (2002-03, ’05)... also helped WHS to a 13-1 record and the Class 5A state runner-up finish in 2004.

Personal: Born September 17, 1987... son of Victor Penny and Tiffany Wiley... a physical education major.
