GENERAL: Fifth-year player... a talented athlete who has seen significant action as a wide receiver and kick returner... will look to impact the Gorillas’ lineup again this fall.

In 2007: Saw action in all 11 games... caught 11 passes for 133 yards (12.1 ypc)... had a season-long 49 yard reception that helped set up PSU’s game tying FG at the end of regulation in a 38-31 2OT win vs. UCM (Sept. 29)... averaged 6.1 yards on punt returns and 41.0 yards on two kickoff returns... also logged 10 tackles (seven solo) on special teams

In 2006: Saw action in 10 games... caught two passes for 76 yards and two TDs, both vs. Panhandle State (Sept. 9)... also returned one punt for 17 yards and logged six special teams tackles (three solo).

In 2005: Saw action in all 14 games... caught three passes for 38 yards... averaged 28.0 yards per kick return and 9.2 yards per punt return.

In 2004: Redshirt season.

In Track & Field: An eight-time All-MIAA performer in the high jump, 400 meter hurdles relays and decathlon for the Gorillas (2005-08).

In High School: A standout football player at Blue Springs South High... also a two-time All-State wrestler... the Missouri Class 6A state runner-up in the high jump in 2004.

Personal: Born September 13, 1985... son of Greg and Becky Thomas... a two-year member of the MIAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll (2006-07)... has a 3.26 GPA as an accounting major.
