GENERAL: Second-year player... redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program... a
talented athlete who made the most of his redshirt season... exited spring drills No. 2 on the depth chart at outside linebacker... figures to contend for action for the Gorillas this fall.

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 4A All-State selection as a quarterback/defensive back as a senior at Topeka’s Hayden High School in 2006... also a first-team All-City and first-team All-League honoree for the Wildcats... helped HHS compile a 42-2 record his final three seasons, including a 14-0 mark and the 4A state title as a sophomore in 2004.

Personal: Born October 23, 1988... son of John and Telisa Stringer... a biology major.
