In 2005: Redshirt season.

In High School: A two-time Kansas Class 5A All-State performer at Blue Valley High School (2003-04)... also a three-time All-Eastern Kansas League selection (2002-04)... helped the Tigers to a 12-1 record and the Class 5A state title as a junior in 2003... a 2005 Kansas Shrine Bowl participant.
