GENERAL: Fourth-year player... a talented athlete who made the move to strong safety from quarterback during spring drills... enjoyed a solid spring camp and figures to contend for the starting role at the position for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2007: Saw action in all 11 games in a reserve role at quarterback for the Gorillas... completed 15 of 22 passes (.682) for 224 yards and three TDs... also rushed 38 times for 188 yards and two TDs... named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 139 yards and one TD and rushing for 120 yards and two TDs, including a 4th-down TD run in OT in a 38-31 2OT win vs. UCM (Sept. 29).

In 2006: Saw action in 10 games in a reserve role at quarterback for the Gorillas... completed 2 of 6 passes (.333) for 38 yards and one TD... also rushed 8 times for 53 yards and one TD.

In 2005: Redshirt season.

In High School: A two-time second-team Missouri Class 3A All-State selection at Carl Junction High (2003-04)... also a two-time All-Big Eight Conference and All-District performer (2003-04)... passed for 1,035 yards and rushed for 685 yards as a senior in 2004.

Personal: Born October 8, 1986... son of Michael and Janine Snyder... a management major.
