In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 4A All-State selection as a running back as a senior at Spring Hill High School in 2006... also an honorable mention Class 4A All-State linebacker his final two prep seasons (2005-06)... also an All-State performer in the shot put and the 100 meters in track & field... a two-time All-State basketball player as well... a 2007 Kansas Shrine Bowl participant.

Personal: Born October 30, 1988... son of Mark and Roberta Smith... a management major.
