GENERAL: Sixth-year player... a talented athlete who battled back from injury in 2007... a hard worker who has put himself back into position to be a frontline player for the Gorillas... expected to contend for a starting role at outside linebacker again this fall... primed for a big senior season. In 2007: Saw action in all 11 games, including two starts, for the Gorillas... recorded 27 tackles (20 solo) with 2.0 QB sacks, 6.5 TFLs and one interception... logged three tackles with 1.0 QB sack, 2.0 TFLs and a forced fumble vs. NWMSU (Oct. 6)... recorded a season-high five stops with 1.0 QB sack and 3.5 TFLs in the season finale vs. ESU (Nov. 10). In 2006: Medical redshirt season. In 2005: Started all 14 games at outside linebacker for the Gorillas... recorded 62 tackles (28 solo) with eight TFLs, 1.0 QB sack, two PBUs, three INTs, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries... led the MIAA in forced fumbles... logged a career-best eight stops on two occasions – vs. Washburn (Oct. 1) and vs. NWMSU (Nov. 26) in the NCAA-II playoffs... against WU, also recorded three TFLs, two forced fumbles and one INT. In 2004: Saw action in nine games in a reserve role at outside linebacker and on PSU's special teams units... recorded 15 tackles (12 solo) on the season... had a season-best three stops vs. Missouri S&T (Sept. 25). In 2003: Redshirt season. In High School: A two-time All-Conference and All-Area performer at Blue Springs South High (2001-02)… recorded 60 tackles with six TFLs, 3.0 quarterback sacks, three pass break-ups and one interception his senior season... also caught 20 passes for 360 yards and four TDs.
