GENERAL: Third-year player... a talented nose guard who has evolved into an All-MIAA caliber performer for the Gorillas... a hard worker who is primed for a big junior season.

In 2007: Started all 11 game at nose guard for the Gorilla... recorded 33 tackles (12 solo) with 3.0 TFLs and two PBUs… logged a career-high six tackles and 1.0 TFL in a win vs. MSSU (Sept. 15).

In 2006: Saw action in all 12 games in a reserve role for the Gorillas... recorded 23 tackles (seven solo) with 1.0 QB sack and 2.0 TFLs... also registered one PBU and one fumble recovery... logged a season-high five tackles vs. #23 Missouri Western (Sept. 16).

In High School: A Kansas Top 11 (All-State, All-Class) selection as a senior at Holton High School in 2005... a first-team Kansas Class 4A All-State pick (2005... second-team Kansas Top 11 (All-State, All-Class) as a junior in 2004... recorded 123 tackles with 6.0 QB sacks last fall, helping HHS to an unblemished 14-0 record and the Class 4A state title... also the Class 4A heavyweight state runner-up in 2005... a 2006 Kansas Shrine Bowl participant.

Personal: Born February 25, 1988... son of Keith and Jayne Roberts... has a 3.71 GPA as an accounting major.
