In 2006: Saw action in two games in a reserve role at "quick" guard for the Gorillas.

In 2005: Redshirt season.

In High School: A first-team Oklahoma Class 2A All-State selection on both sides of the ball as a senior at Alva High in 2004... an honorable mention All-State, All-Class honoree... earned Class 4A District I Offensive Lineman of the Year accolades as well... registered 193 tackles with 16 TFLs and 13.0 QB sacks.

Personal: Born January 29, 1987... son of Rojelio Nuñez and Renae Beeler... an MIAA Presidential Scholar... also a second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII selection in 2007... has a perfect 4.00 GPA as a history/government major.
