GENERAL: Third-year player... a talented athlete who has evolved into an All-MIAA caliber performer... a hard worker is expected to secure a starting role at outside linebacker for the Gorillas again this fall... primed for a big junior season.

In 2007: Started all 11 games at outside linebacker for the Gorillas... recorded 52 tackles (31 solo) with 2.0 QB sacks and a team-leading 10.0 TFLs... also registered three PBUs, two forced fumbles and one interception... garnered honorable mention All-MIAA honors... logged a career-high nine tackles with 1.5 TFLs vs. MSSU (Sept. 15).

In 2006: Saw action in all 12 games, including one start, at outside linebacker... recorded 34 tackles (19 solo) with 2.0 QB sacks and 2.0 TFLs... logged five tackles with 1.0 QB sack vs. Truman (Oct. 28).

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 6A All-State selection as a senior at Blue Valley Northwest High School in 2005... the Eastern Kansas League Defensive Player of the Year (2005)... a two-time first-team All-Eastern Kansas League honoree (2004-05)... recorded 85 tackles (53 solo) with 4.0 QB sacks... also a Kansas Class 6A state qualifier in the sprints... a 2006 Kansas Shrine Bowl participant.

Personal: Born August 21, 1987... son of Marc and Nikki Langston... a marketing major.
