In Track & Field: Garnered NCAA Division II All-America honors by placing seventh in the triple jump a the outdoor national meet... a three-time All-MIAA performer in the horizontal jumps, including MIAA runner-up honors in the triple jump both indoors and outdoors.

In High School: A Kansas top 11 (All-State, All Class) selection as a senior at Pittsburg High School in 2006... earned first-team Class 4A All-State honors at wide receiver... caught 49 passes for 1,032 yards (21.1 ypc) and nine TDs... a two-time first-team All-SEK League pick (2005-06)... a 2007 Kansas Shrine Bowl participant.
