GENERAL: Second-year player... a promising prospect at nose guard for the Gorillas... a hard worker who continues to improve with experience... will look to make a more significant impact for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2007: Saw action in four games in a reserve role at nose guard for the Gorillas... recorded two tackles (one solo) with 0.5 TFL on the year.

In Junior College: Redshirted in his only season at Butler County Community College in 2005.

In High School: A second-team All-Sunflower League and second-team All-Sun Country performer as a senior at Shawnee Mission South High in 2004... also an All-State performer in the shot put and discus in track & field.

Personal: Born January 20, 1987... son of Tom and JoAnne Kennard... a biology major.
