GENERAL: Second-year player... a promising prospect at outside linebacker... enjoyed a solid spring camp... figures to contend for significant action for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2007: Saw action in four games in a reserve role for the Gorillas... recorded two tackles (one solo), one PBU and one INT, which he returned for a touchdown vs. ECU (Sept. 1).

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Garden City Community Colelge... recorded 50 tackles with two INTs, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 2A All-State selection at defensive back as a senior in 2004... also an honorable mention Class 4A All-State honoree at quarterback that year... recorded 96 tackles with three INTs, eight fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

Personal: Born April 7, 1987... son of Greg and Tammy Jennings... has a 3.55 GPA as a political science (pre-law) major.
