GENERAL: Fifth-year player... a talented tailback who emerged as one of the premier players in Division II in 2007... a returning All-America performer who is primed for a big senior season... ranks sixth among the top returning underclassmen in rushing (124.5 ypg) and third among the top returning underclassmen in scoring (11.5 ppg) from the 2007 season... enters the 2008 season with 1,905 career rushing yards, needing 39 yards to break into PSU’s all-time top 20 list... holds the PSU bench press (345 lbs.), squat (545 lbs.) and incline press (310 lbs.) records for his weight class... a 2008 PSU team captain. In 2007: Started all 11 games... carried the ball 247 times for 1,370 yards (5.5 ypc) and 20 TDs... also caught 31 passes for 291 yards (9.4 ypc) and one score... ranked seventh in Division II in scoring (11.5 ppg) and 19th nationally in rushing (134.5 ypg)... ranked second in the MIAA in rushing, scoring and all-purpose yards (151.0 ypg)... garnered first-team All-MIAA honors and honorable mention All-America accolades from Football Gazette... twice named the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week: vs. East Central (Sept. 1) and vs. MSSU (Sept. 15)... rushed for a career-high 179 yards and two TDs vs. MSSU... had 130 yards and a career-best four TDs vs. ECU... turned in a 156-yard, three-TD effort vs. NWMSU (Oct. 6)... logged eight 100-yard rushing games on the year.
