GENERAL: Second-year player... redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program... a promising prospect as a wide receiver as well as a long snapper... figures to contend for the long snapping chores this fall.

In 2007: Redshirt season.

In High School: A first-team All-Tri County selection at defensive end as a senior at Louisburg High School in 2006... also a second-team All-Tri County wide receiver that year... helped the Wildcats to a 10-2 record and a trip to the Class 4A state semifinals.

Personal: Born November 7, 1988... son of Jeff and Connie Ewy... has a 3.25 GPA as a biology (pre-medicine) major.
