GENERAL: Second-year player... a talented back who enjoyed a productive junior season in 2007 after transferring to PSU from De Anza College... a versatile athlete who figures to split time between tailback and fullback for the Gorillas this fall. In 2007: Saw action in 10 games in a reserve role... carried the ball 45 times for 236 yards (5.2 ypc) and one TD... also caught four passes for 110 yards (27.5 ypc) and two scores... rushed eight times for a season-high 66 yards vs. WU (Nov. 3)... had a season-long 48-yard catch and run touchdown in the season finale vs. ESU (Nov. 10). In Junior College: Spent three seasons at De Anza College... missed the 2005 season with an injury, after playing as a freshman in 2004... enjoyed a successful return to the gridiron for the Dons as a sophomore in 2006, rushing 100 times for 471 yards (4.7 ypc) and two TDs... also caught 11 passes for 113 yards (10.3 ypc). In High School: A standout football player and track & field athlete at Newberry (S.C.) High... named the football team MVP as a senior for the Bulldogs in 2003.
