GENERAL: Third-year player... a promising prospect at fullback who has continued to improve with experience... will look to challenge for more significant playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2006-07: Saw action in one game in a reserve role in 2007, after redshirting in his initial season in the PSU program in 2006.

In High School: A first-team All-City selection as a senior at Wichita’s Bishop Carroll High School in 2005... a three-time All-City performer... helped the Golden Eagles to a pair of city league titles (2003-04) and a 9-2 record in 2005.

Personal: Born May 28, 1988... son of Marc and Linda Childs... has a 3.39 GPA as a construction management major.
