GENERAL: Fourth-year player... a talented athlete who has evolved into a frontline player at tight end... a hard worker who is primed for a big junior season.

In 2007: Saw action in all 11 games, including five start... caught five passes for 101 yards (20.2 ypc) and two TDs... had a 34-yard TD grab vs A&M Commerce (Aug. 25) and an 18-yard scoring grab vs UCM (Sept. 29).

In 2005-06: Saw action in all 12 games in a reserve role and on special teams in 2006 after redshirting in his initial season at PSU in 2005.

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 3A All-State selection at tight end as a senior at Baxter Springs High in 2004… also a first team All-CNC League performer.

Personal: Born February 10, 1987... son of Dennis and Mary Burke... a biology major.
