Volleyball Skills Training Academy
@ Pittsburg State University:
June 16-18 – Libero/Defensive Specialist – Ball Control
Training.
Highly recommended for all players interested in college volleyball
regardless of position background. Open to players with JV/Varsity and
Club experience. Emphasis on efficient ball control techniques during
serve receive, defensive and game situations. Fees: $175 commuter (Lunch
only), $200 residential (3 meals per day except on first and last day).
June 25-26 – All Skills Training for 5th
- 9th graders.
Open to all players going into 5th - 9th grades needing to develop
or enhance fundamental volleyball skills. Participants divided into training
groups based upon level of experience. Emphasis placed on form and movement
training for passing, hitting, setting and game situations. Schedule:
Day 1, 2 - 4:30 p.m., Day 2, 9:30 a.m. - Noon, 1 - 3:30 p.m. Bring along
your lunch bag. Fees: $95. COMMUTERS ONLY.
July 10-12 – Technique & Form Training
for Attackers & Setters.
Superior technical training to improve attacking footwork, jump-plant
& landing, arm-swing efficiency and shot selections for all attacking
positions. Emphasis on form/movement, and efficient ball contact/delivery
for setters. Highly recommended for players interested in college volleyball.
Small camper to coach ratio. Beneficial for setter/attacker from the same
school. Fees: $175 commuter (Lunch only). $200 residential (3 meals a
day except on first and last).
July 16-19 – Advanced High School Team
Training Academy.
Individualized team technical training and competitive opportunity
for 10 Varsity teams & 10 JV teams only. Very personal and customized
to improve individual team specific requirements. Highly recommended for
teams looking for a training program that offers personalized team teaching
environment. Per player Fees: $180 commuter (Lunch only), $210 residential
(3 meals). All Head Coaches - No charge. Assistant Coaches – $80
to cover room/board.
