Spring 2008 Baseball Clinics

High School Baseball Defense/Pitching Clinic - 9 a.m. to Noon
Instruction will be given in Pitching, Catching, Infield and Outfield - Players will be given the opportunity to attend stations teaching each of these baseball skills. A great opportunity for players who will be at multiple positions on defense during the high school season or would like to learn a new position.

1 - 4 p.m. - High School Hitting Clinic
Individual instruction on the fundamentals of hitting, as well as instruction on situational hitting including bunting, two strike hitting approach and hitting to the opposite field with authority. Batting gloves and your own bats are recommended. The clinic will be held on the mezzanine of the Weede Physical Education Bldg, Pittsburg State University.

Clinic Cost
Cost is $20 per clinic or $30 if you would like to do both the Baseball Defense/Pitching Clinic in the morning and the Hitting Clinic in the afternoon.

Registration
Advanced registration is not required but recommended. Further information may be obtained by email sbever@pittstate.edu or by phone at 620-235-6550. On site registration will begin 30 minutes prior to the clinic.

Instruction
The clinic will be instructed by the Pitt State Baseball coaching staff and current varsity baseball players.

Equipment Needed
Players should bring their own gloves, bats, batting gloves and catching equipment if that is your position.
