General: Third-year player...a talented shooting guard who asserted himself as one of the Gorillas' top offensive weapons as a sophomore in 2006-07...has matured into a solid defensive player as well...expected to be an impact player for the Gorillas again this year. In 2006-07: Started in 17 of 22 games played...missed nine games due to injury...averaged 10.1 points and 2.4 rebound per game...led the team in 3-point field goal percentage at 41.4 percent, converting 41 of 99 attempts...scored 20+ points three times during the season, including a career-high 28 points (six 3-pointers) vs. Fort Hays State (Jan. 22)...also scored 24 points in the NCAA-II National Tournament vs. Northwest Missouri (Mar. 10)...dished out a career-high five assists twice: vs. Evangel (Nov. 24) and vs. Southwest Baptist (Feb. 17). In 2005-06: Saw action in all 28 games, including 13 starts...averaged 5.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 20 minutes of action per game...scored in double figures five times...scored a season-high 19 points vs. St. Joseph (Dec. 3)...also scored 17 points against Northwest Missouri (Feb. 4)...had a season-high seven rebounds in the MIAA Tournament vs. Southwest Baptist (Mar. 3)...converted 32.1 percent of his shots from the floor (44 of 137) including 30.1 percent of his 3-point field goals (19 of 62)...also knocked down 75.0 percent of his free throws (33 of 44). In High School: Earned first-team Oklahoma Class 5A All-State honors as a senior at Tulsa's East Central High in 2005...averaged 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game for the Cardinals...named the District Player of the Year.
